Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Painter 1st Shift in Archdale, NC. The role involves performing powder coating and wet spray painting, preparing parts, and maintaining production paperwork to meet quality standards.

The position is a 3-month contract with a first shift schedule (Mon-Thu 6am–4:30pm) and potential Friday overtime. The ideal candidate has attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a proactive attitude, with the physical ability to stand and lift up to 30 lbs and to meet respiratory

Qualifications

• Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, turn, and lift up to 30 lbs frequently.
• Sufficient reading and writing skills to follow work instructions and prepare reports.
• Good visual acuity (corrected) for reading instructions, operating equipment, and inspecting parts.
• Manual dexterity to operate painting equipment properly.
• Ability to meet respiratory requirements through spirometry testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform production powder coating and wet spray painting on various parts.
• Mix paint and prepare parts for painting, including masking and washing.
• Load and unload parts from the paint line efficiently and safely.
• Organize parts by color scheme to streamline production workflow.
• Maintain accurate production paperwork and ensure quality standards are met.
