Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Painter 1st Shift for a contract role in Archdale, NC. Scope includes powder coating and wet spray painting in a production environment with a 6:00 AM–4:30 PM shift and potential overtime on Fridays.

This 3-month assignment offers hands-on training and a focus on safety and quality. The ideal candidate will bring attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow precise instructions while maintaining production paperwork and meeting finished good

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Strong reading and writing skills to follow work instructions.
• Good visual acuity for reading instructions and inspecting parts.
• Manual dexterity to operate painting equipment safely.
• Ability to meet respiratory requirements through spirometry testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform production powder coating and wet spray painting on various parts.
• Mix paint and prepare parts for painting, including masking and washing.
• Load and unload parts from the paint line safely and efficiently.
• Organize parts by color scheme to streamline production workflow.
• Maintain accurate production paperwork and ensure quality standards are met.
