Qualifications

• Direct supervision of 20 to 60 employees in the Production Department.

Responsibilities

• Study production orders to ascertain type and quantity of product and packaging requirements.
• Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
• Interpret specifications and job orders to workers, and assign duties.
• Observe packaging operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Suggest changes in working conditions to increase efficiency of the crew.
• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving them.
• Initiate plans to motivate workers to achieve goals.
• Maintain time and production records.
• Confer with supervisors to coordinate activities of departments.
