Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. in Sellersburg, IN, is hiring an Operator for the production team to safely run roll formers, coil slitters, and flat sheet shears to produce metal roofing and wall panels.

The role requires prior manufacturing experience, ability to operate a forklift, and the capacity to work independently or with others. Shift is 1st, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, full-time benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment required.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and with others; strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll formers to produce metal roof and side panels.
• Visually check finished panels against specifications for defects.
• Install panel dies during tool changes and adjust to specs.
• Enter production quantities into the computer system.
• Operate a forklift to position coils at the un-coiler.
• Operate overhead cranes to load coil stock; maintain clean, safe area.
