Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Assembler for 1st shift in Everett, WA. You will read blueprints, assemble, test, and inspect products, using various tools to maintain high-quality output in a safe work environment.

The role requires interpretation of engineering drawings, attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures. You will contribute to efficient production and support continuous improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, fabrication or testing in a production environment.
• Experience reading blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and bills of materials.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, cutters, and precision measuring equipment.
• Experience identifying defects, performing inspections, documenting findings, and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, drawings, specifications, and BOMs to complete assembly tasks.
• Operate hand and electric tools efficiently and safely.
• Maintain organized inventory at work stations and ensure materials are available.
• Perform quality checks and rework/repair assemblies per engineering changes.
• Adhere to safety standards and keep a clean, safe work area.
