Job summary

Aerotek in Bloomington, MN is seeking Mechanical Assemblers for a first shift (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.), contract-to-hire. You will assemble water jet system components with hand and power tools, following diagrams, and prepare finished goods for palletizing and shipping. Training is provided, and safety footwear is required.

You must be able to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 40 pounds, and work well in a small team of 4–5. Attendance and reliability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and power tools in an assembly or similar environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform mechanical assembly tasks.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Willingness to work in a team and help out in all areas.
• Good attendance and reliability for daily shift.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assemble ends and components for water jet systems using hand and power tools.
• Follow pictures and diagrams to perform assembly tasks accurately.
