Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for a permanent role based in Maple Grove, MN. You will assemble large industrial chiller units and cooling systems, using hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and following detailed work instructions.

You will work on first or second shifts in a clean, climate-controlled facility with opportunities to cross-train and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures and basic assembly drawings.
• Manufacturing, construction, automotive, maintenance, HVAC, or mechanical assembly experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand, lift, and move throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble large industrial chiller units and cooling systems.
• Install mechanical components including panels, frames, brackets, piping, insulation, and hardware.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, impact drivers, wrenches, sockets, and rivet tools.
• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Perform mechanical assembly, fit-up, and final product build activities.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Cross-train on additional product lines and custom builds.
