Job summary

nVent in Blaine, MN is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift to support receiving, stocking, and distributing materials across production lines. This on-site role requires maintaining a safe, organized work area and accurate inventory records to keep internal and external customers satisfied.

You will operate key equipment such as wave lift, tugger truck, and mother/daughter carts, meet performance standards, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives with the team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of material flow processes.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures and the ability to promote compliance with them.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate equipment vital to the picking process.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, pick, issue, and deliver materials within performance guidelines to support internal and external customers.
• Maintain equipment and perform safety checks.
• Ensure a continuous supply of equipment and materials to meet production schedules.
