Job summary

United Alloy in Seguin, Texas is seeking an onsite material handler/welder support role focused on welding-related material flow and quality. You will move materials, identify parts, and ensure accurate counting and tagging while supporting production to meet ISO requirements.

Candidates must have a valid driver license, forklift certification, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with help. This role includes safety training and potential overtime based on production needs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license required.
• Certified fork truck driving with at least one year of experience.
• Able to move at least 1,000 lbs. with a fork truck.
• Must operate overhead cranes, bander, shrink wrapper, forklift, tape measures and calipers.
• Must determine material types and gauges.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must meet UA/ISO requirements and lift up to 25/50/100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Pull stored materials for orders and move to production or shipping areas.
• Identify materials by part numbers and count raw materials.
• Supply work area with materials and perform kitting as required.
• Document material handling information and transfer locations in CSI.
• Tag and count materials before handling; maintain clear production pathways.
• Follow safe manufacturing and material handling practices.
