Job summary

BlueGreen Alliance Inc is hiring a Material Handler to support fabrication operations in Indiana. You will receive, store, and ship materials, keep accurate records, and help maintain a lean, organized shop floor to optimize production flow.

The role requires experience in material handling, familiarity with lean manufacturing (5S, Kanban, JIT), basic computer skills, and the ability to operate forklifts and related equipment. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling or warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Shipping and Receiving experience is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Receive, ship, inspect, and store raw materials and finished products with accurate inventory.
• Monitor inventory levels, count stock, and report discrepancies.
• Support lean manufacturing: 5S, Kanban, and JIT and waste elimination.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and maintain equipment.
• Maintain records of material movements and prepare reports.
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams.
• Other duties as required to support operations.
