Job summary

BlueScope North America is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, or other equipment to receive inventory, load/unload, and move materials within plant, yard, or warehouse. We welcome candidates of all backgrounds and emphasize safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include loading materials, transporting between storage and production areas, lifting with cranes or forklifts, contributing to continuous improvement, and maintaining organization per 5-S

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and cranes.
• Strong safety awareness and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Load Materials: Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
• Transport Materials: Move materials between storage and production areas.
• Lift and Position Materials: Use lifting devices to position materials as needed.
• Contribute to Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain and Organize: Keep inventory and area organized per 5-S standards.
