Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to produce precision components on first shift. You will set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, and grinders to meet close tolerances.

You will work with Engineering and Quality teams to solve challenges, while maintaining a safe, organized workspace and collaborating across departments to improve processes. Compensation ranges from $30 to $38 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in manual machining, including tool making, fixturing, and production manufacturing.
• Expert-level blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Deep understanding of manual machining techniques, GD&T, and machine tolerances.
• Self-directed work style with strong collaborative abilities.
• Commitment to precision and quality in every part produced.
• Clear communication skills for effective team collaboration.
• U.S. Person Requirement: due to export control compliance, must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status.

Responsibilities

• Transform blueprints and technical drawings into precision-machined parts.
• Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Achieve and maintain tight tolerances through skilled manual machining.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to optimize processes.
