Job summary

Custom Culinary, a Griffith Foods company, is hiring a Maintenance Technician for first shift on-site in Oswego, IL. You will install, maintain and repair machinery, electrical systems and building infrastructure to support high-quality food production.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with some Saturday overtime and a starting hourly rate of $36.39. Candidates should have an associates degree or equivalent, or a high school diploma with several years of electrical/mechanical experience, and be

Qualifications

• Associates degree or two-year certificate in Electrical Maintenance, Mechatronics, or equivalent program, OR high school diploma with three years in electrical/mechanical/Pneumatic/Hydraulic/PLC programming.
• Experience with food production equipment including mixers, fillers, packaging lines, palletizing systems.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment by identifying issues with machines.
• Document work orders using CMMS.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts.
• Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, and related equipment.
• Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the building.
• Set up and operate machine tools (grinder, lathe, drill press, torches or welding).
• Perform PMs and PD.M. as required and follow up with repairs.
• Support operations with autonomous maintenance, SOPs and centerline programs.
