Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and manage a team of technical professionals to achieve operational excellence while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and facility infrastructure to support production and operational goals.
  • Preventive Programs: Develop and implement maintenance schedules, preventive maintenance programs, and troubleshooting procedures to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
  • Safety Champion: Foster a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to align maintenance activities with broader operational objectives, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize your technical expertise and sound judgment to propose solutions to complex technical challenges, leveraging internal resources and team expertise.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and coaching to drive continuous improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and compliance documentation.
What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory maintenance experience.
  • Proven experience managing electricians, mechanical maintenance, or similar technical teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, particularly in electrical systems and equipment operations.
  • Ability to document, plan, and execute maintenance programs and projects.
  • Established project management skills, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Experience working in a union environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with boiler plant operations, electrical systems, and industrial equipment maintenance.
