Kyocera International, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for our Hendersonville, NC facility.

This first-shift role offers a Monday–Friday work week with interviews this week and a pay range of $25–$32 per hour, based on experience and skills. The position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems, ensuring compliance with safety and ITAR requirements, and coordinating with engineers, vendors, and managers to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be eligible to work in an ITAR-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC equipment issues.
• Complete scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Assist with machine installations, equipment moves, and facility improvement projects.
• Coordinate with managers, engineers, vendors, and contractors to keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain maintenance records and purchase parts using SAP.
• Follow all safety, environmental, lockout/tagout, and 5S procedures.
• Perform general facility maintenance, including minor building repairs, painting, plumbing, and HVAC support.
