Kyocera International, Inc. in Hendersonville, NC is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for first shift to keep production lines running safely and efficiently. This hands‑on role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and preventive maintenance of production equipment and facility systems.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, and the ability to read blueprints. SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC equipment issues.
• Complete scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Assist with machine installations, equipment moves, and facility improvement projects.
• Coordinate with managers, engineers, vendors, and contractors to keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain maintenance records and purchase parts using SAP.
• Follow all safety, environmental, lockout/tagout, and 5S procedures.
• Perform general facility maintenance, including minor building repairs, painting, plumbing, and HVAC support.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of production equipment and facility systems. • Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be eligible to work in an ITAR-regulated environment
