Job summary

Instrument Development Company in Mukwonago, WI is seeking a Machinist-Level 2. Under supervision you will begin to set-up with instruction and learn basic 3-axis programs; draw a part in CAD.

You will read refractometer readings, load programs, adjust tool offsets, edit feed rates for SFM, and interpret blueprints per routing. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and following procedures. This is a full-time, first-shift position with hands-on training and paperwork completion.

Qualifications

• Able to perform Machinist-Level 2 duties.
• Ability to set up and adjust work holding devises.
• Reading and interpreting blueprint specifications per routing.
• Strong GD&T reading and interpretation skills.
• Solid understanding of industrial math.

Responsibilities

• Read refractometer to maintain proper concentration and coolant levels.
• Load a program and establish work holding positions; make minor edits.
• Edit tool feed rates to set SFM and chip loads.
• Read, interpret, and understand blueprint specifications per MOM routing.
• Follow quality, safety procedures and complete paperwork.
