You will operate production machinery, measure parts with micrometers and calipers, perform setup and inspections, and keep records of production activity. The schedule is Mon-Thu, 10-hour shifts with overtime possible, and a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow basic written and verbal instructions.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing or machining processes preferred.
• Piston ring machining experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand a production traveler.
• Able to use manual micrometers, calipers, and basic hand tools.
• Strong math skills for decimal measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery according to traveler specifications and company standards.
• Machine piston rings to precise dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform machining operations including cutting, sanding, drilling, grinding, and turning.
• Inspect finished products using micrometers and calipers.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and daily outputs.
