Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group, LLC is seeking a Label Inspector/Rewind Operator for the first shift in Westfield, MA. The role involves operating an upright rewinder, inspecting for quality, and ensuring compliance with customer specs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environment.
• Overtime, evenings, and weekends may be required.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rewinding equipment according to job specifications.
• Perform visual inspection of finished rolls to ensure quality.
• Identify and address defects to ensure product consistency.
• Perform light maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate major ones.
• Operate pallet jacks and roll lifts to handle rolls.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per policies and OSHA.
• Communicate with managers and team members to ensure workflow.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce waste and boost productivity.
