Job summary

Central Garden & Pet is seeking an Inventory Associate to maintain accurate inventory records in a manufacturing environment. You will support production by receiving shipments, pulling materials, labeling, and distributing items to lines, ensuring timely delivery to meet schedules.

The role requires experience with WMS, basic math, and proficient MS Office skills. The position is 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with overtime during peak season; prior forklift experience is preferred or willingness to be

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with WMS Programs.
• Prior inventory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving shipments and verify items/quantities.
• Use SAP reports to pull materials for production.
• Label and store materials per procedures.
• Use Production Plan spreadsheet to pull material shells.
• Distribute materials to production lines to support schedules.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Coordinate with production and shipping to ensure inventory needs.
