Job summary

Mars Petcare in Columbus, OH seeks a Stockroom Clerk to manage inventory using SAP in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will receive, store, and cycle count materials, ensure accurate records, and maintain stockroom organization on a 2nd shift, 2pm–10:30pm, Monday–Friday.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, SAP and MS Office proficiency, and a focus on safety and quality. Starting pay is $26.87/hour with a $2/hour shift premium plus benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in stockroom/inventory OR related degree.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP to process stock movements, transfers, and adjustments.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and parts.
• Conduct cycle counts and audits to ensure stock accuracy.
• Identify, resolve and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure proper labeling and organized storage of stockroom items.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards related to inventory management.
• Facilitate transfer of items between the warehouse and the stockroom.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the stockroom area.
• Handle ad hoc requests as requested.
