Job summary

Vistar, a leading distributor within Performance Food Group, seeks an Inventory Control Coordinator to monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across the distribution process. You will compile records on quantity, type, and value of materials and ensure quality standards while supporting safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and producing inventory reports.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to communicate information accurately and apply math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts total inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computing figures from records.
• Verifies clerical computations against physical count and investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and may survey defective/unusable items.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
