Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Bolingbrook, IL is hiring a Material Handler / Warehouse Forklift Operator for First Shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 am–2:30 pm). Pay is $20.00 per hour with weekly direct deposit and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
• Must be punctual with good attendance record.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy in picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in warehouse (e.g. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
