Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Dekalb, Illinois is seeking a Material Handler / Warehouse Forklift Operator for the E shift (5:15 PM – 1:45 AM). Weekly pay, on-site work, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities include loading, picking, packing, shipping, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Must have a high school diploma and a valid forklift license; prior warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Flexible schedule across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and forklift operation.
• Accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Maintain safety and quality during core shift hours for automated packing systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
