Job summary

Ryder in Bolingbrook, IL is hiring a Material Handler to support warehouse operations on first shift. You will load, unload, pick, pack, and ship goods using multiple forklift types, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• 1+ year warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load, pick, pack, ship, receive, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, bills of lading, etc.).
• Support automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
