Job summary

Crescent is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently. The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols and participation in the Crescent Way 3 P's: Purpose, Process, People.

Responsibilities include performing forklift and trailer inspections, loading/unloading, and collaborating with Shipping/Receiving and Supervisors to ensure on-time delivery and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• The ability to read and understand safety instructions.
• Basic math and counting for load counting and palletization.
• Ability to operate forklift safely and follow procedures.
• Familiarity with warehouse terminology and workflows.
• Ability to learn warehouse management system (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow the Doing it Safe Playbook.
• Understands and complies with all safety requirements.
• Do not walk by any unsafe act or behavior.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Complete forklift inspection and trailer inspection forms accurately and according to procedure.
• Operate forklift in a safe manner in trailer, warehouse, production floor, and around other workers.
• Motivated team member and able to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with LNA, Shipping/Receiving, and Supervisors to complete tasks on time and drive continuous improvement.
• Efficiently load and unload trailers to maintain turnaround times for each dock appointment.
• Communicate with leads to maintain workflow and identify improvements.
