Staffmark Group in Toledo, OH is hiring a Material Handler for the 1st shift. This role keeps products moving by loading/unloading and assisting with warehouse operations. A forklift is used to move cartons and stock, with safety as a priority.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of forklift experience; familiarity with RF scanners or pallet jacks is a plus. Competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months of forklift experience required.
• Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Able to perform basic math functions and identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as required.

Responsabilités

• Load and unload cartons from trailers and move throughout facility using a forklift.
• Utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment as required.
• Identify, hold, and segregate defective material.
• Remove and store stock from various operations.
• Complete paperwork per work instructions when required.
• Inspect forklift at the start of each shift and report issues to supervisor.
• Support health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives.
