Job summary

You’ll hire, train, and coach a frontline team, schedule shifts, ensure USDA inspections, and coordinate with other supervisors to keep lines staffed and aligned with customer orders. Strong leadership and communication are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; vocational/college courses preferred.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to train, coach, and counsel staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment.
• Build and lead a team: hire, train, retain, and coach; orient staff on benefits and policies; rotate workstations.
• Verify daily production orders, ensure shipments accuracy, and maintain inventory records.
• Staff all workstations before start-up; ensure machinery passes USDA inspections; promote safety.
• Oversee processing operations and collaborate with other supervisors to solve problems.
• Provide ongoing education on quality and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as needed.
