Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing process flow and importance to process.
• Leadership aptitude and supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign work, and provide clear direction to production employees.
• Monitor operations to meet production and quality standards.
• Ensure equipment is functioning, cleaned, and sanitized; arrange repairs as needed.
• Promote safe work behaviors and report accidents or injuries promptly.
• Supervise production scheduling to meet orders and demand; stage materials for next runs.
• Drive efficiency and cost containment; resolve grievances with HR and management.
• Communicate with employees through shift meetings and informal methods.
• Administer promotions, transfers, timekeeping, evaluations, and coaching.
