Job summary

RiceWrap Foods Corporation in North Carolina is seeking a Floating Associate to support Production and Packaging teams in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role involves operating packaging machinery, portioning ingredients, preparing pans, stacking pallets, and maintaining high standards of food safety and GMP.

You will perform varied daily tasks, work with team members, and follow all safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (food safety) guidelines and hygiene practices.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and timely manner (our process is primarily manual with machine-assistance).
• Inspect product at all stages to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Locate and final product and packaging.
• Pull/push racks of and finished product.
• Participate in operator-based machine maintenance and care.
• Participate in training programs.
• Safely use and dispose of cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Prep trays and pans, portion ingredients, move racks of product, remove product from pans, make boxes, pack product into boxes, tape cases, stack cases, and more.
• Participate in dishwashing duties (running dish machines, manually washing small wares, pans, etc.).
• Participate in equipment and area cleaning in a safe and timely manner.
• Locate and retrieve raw materials and packaging.
