Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a dedicated janitor for the 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) in Bedford Park, IL. You will perform routine cleaning across GMP areas, sanitize sinks, wipe surfaces, mop floors, and restock supplies to support food safety.

The role requires teamwork with production, adherence to safety programs (SQF), and reliable attendance. Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred; high school diploma or GED is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working in the food industry.
• General high school degree, or equivalent; high school diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMPs and help enforce them across the facility.
• Support SQF food safety and quality programs.
• Attend scheduled shifts and communicate professionally.
• Work with production teams to maintain cleanliness.
