Shambaugh & Son, L.P. in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a 1st shift Fabricator for the Fire Fabrication Shop. You will fabricate pipe for fire protection systems and support assembly and testing in a busy fabrication environment.

Candidates should be reliable with good attendance and a strong work ethic. You must read a tape measure to ¼”, communicate clearly, follow directions, and be willing to work Saturdays and extended hours. Lifting up to 50 lbs and standing 8–12 hours are required.

Mansioni

Use various machinery in fabrication of pipe components.
Read and interpret assembly instructions and parts lists.
Fabricate and assemble pipe per instructions and verify measurements.
Tighten fittings, ensure proper assembly, and report production issues.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment; follow directions from supervisors.
Assist with troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
