Job summary

Blount Fine Foods is seeking a first-shift Machine Operator to efficiently run production lines for soups and side dishes. You will follow recipes, HACCP steps, and operate multiple inline equipment while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a hot, humid environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of machine operating experience, and bilingual Spanish as a plus. Medical/dental benefits and 401k are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
• 1 year prior machine operating experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs repeatedly in hot and humid environment following safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively within department to ensure productive processing.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipe and HACCP steps to ensure correct completion of all recipes to pre-determined standards.
• Communicate effectively within department to ensure most efficient and productive processing possible.
• Final in-line work and responsibility on all recipes being produced.
• Ability to learn, operate and adjust multiple in-line pieces of processing equipment: kettles, chillers, fillers.
• Multitask multiple recipes and steps while staying organized and clean.
