Job summary

Knowles Precision Devices is hiring an Leading and Assembly Operator to perform production and assembly of electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products. You will follow work orders, inspect parts, measure dimensions, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualification requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and the ability to read drawings and specifications. Experience in manufacturing or electronics is preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or electronics preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, charts, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy.
• Identify visual defects in small parts and components.
• Basic use of measuring and inspection tools.
• Basic computer skills for production data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Follow work orders, charts, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Prepare and clean materials and components for assembly.
• Perform assembly operations per procedures and specs.
• Count, sort, and prepare parts for production.
• Visually inspect parts and assemblies for defects.
• Compare hardware against parts lists to verify installation.
• Measure parts to verify dimensions.
• Identify and segregate defective items for rework or scrap.
• Record defects and maintain production records.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and support team as needed.
• Assist coworkers with production tasks as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
