Job summary

Aerotek is hiring an Electrical Assembler in Gilbert, AZ for a first-shift, contract-to-hire role. You will assemble and wire electrical panels, read schematics, and perform quality tests in a modern manufacturing facility.

The position requires hand-tool proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. You will work on an assembly line, support lean initiatives, and communicate effectively with teammates to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working on electrical components.
• Hands-on electrical assembly including wiring, cables, and wires.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Mechanical assembly experience in a production/assembly line environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical panels and related components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Use crimpers, wire cutting tools, and other hand tools to prepare wires for assembly.
• Perform complex mechanical and electrical assembly tasks on components and subassemblies.
• Conduct final quality inspections and functional testing to meet standards.
• Maintain inventory of parts and materials and ensure stock levels stay optimal.
• Follow lean manufacturing guidelines and contribute improvement ideas to boost efficiency.
• Work on an assembly line and support production goals while meeting deadlines.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate work.
• Work under pressure to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures in the manufacturing area.
