Job summary

POM Wonderful in California is seeking an Electrical & Automation Manager for 1st shift to lead plant electrical, controls, and OT support. You will drive automation strategy, manage capital projects, and mentor a technical team across processing, packaging, utilities, and facility systems.

The role focuses on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement, with travel as needed and compensation in the $110,000–$140,000 range depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities including capital projects and emergency support.
• Experience with electrical safety standards (LOTO, Arc Flash) and control systems modernization.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and controls team with clear expectations and accountability.
• Own PLC, HMI, VFD, instrumentation, and power distribution support across processes.
• Drive control system lifecycle management and modernization initiatives.
• Lead integration and startup of new equipment and controls upgrades.
• Provide on-call support for critical production issues and outages.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and manage contractors/vendors.
