Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Union Springs, AL is seeking a production associate to operate the CVP Machine in our poultry processing line, pulling boxes from the conveyor and crayovac the bags while following PPE and safety policies.

Must lift up to 70 lbs and work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts. Poultry experience is preferred but not required; we are an equal opportunity employer with a safety-first work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Must be able to push up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to recognize proper CO2 levels.
• Must be able to determine if the bag has the correct seal.
• Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Must follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Must wear PPE and maintain safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Pull boxes off of the conveyor and place them on the CVP Machine.
• Operate CVP Machine to crayovac the bags.
• Ensure proper CO2 levels and bag seals.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Assist with other tasks as directed by management.
