Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a production associate to pull boxes from conveyors onto the CVP Machine and assist with bag sealing operations in a controlled environment. This role requires adherence to PPE protocols and safety guidelines on the production floor.

Ideal candidates are capable of working nights, weekends and extended shifts, with a strong work ethic and ability to follow directions across departments as needed.

• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
• Poultry experience preferred but not required

• Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned.

PAY: $ 19.40 WORK SCHEDULE: 7:33 AM - 4:25 PM

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Primarily responsible for pulling boxes off of the conveyor/belt and placing them on the CVP Machine. Operates CVP Machine to crayovac the bags. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Poultry experience preferred but not required

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

Follow Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to safety requirements Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) PPE required but subject to change: Hairnet, beard net, shoe covers, gloves, smock, earplugs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC) Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift Will be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production
