Job summary

The Royal Group in Cicero, IL is seeking a Corrugator Supervisor on first shift to lead daily corrugated production and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. You will schedule shifts, coach staff, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement under a CBA framework.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing supervision, with corrugated industry exposure, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and maintain a compliant, productive

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret operating instructions and manuals.
Ability to write reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees or customers.
Strong numerical and cost analysis capabilities.
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule and supervise daily corrugator operations to meet goals.
Ensure supervisory actions comply with applicable CBA terms.
Coach and evaluate staff; promote cross-training.
Maintain safety and cleanliness per OSHA and policies.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and improve productivity.
Coordinate repairs and evaluate new equipment for efficiency.
Compile production data and respond to requests for information.
Develop and revise procedures, controls, and budgets as needed.
Maintain inventories of Rollstock and supplies.
