Job summary

Shiseido Americas, a leading beauty company, is seeking a Compounder I to join our manufacturing team. The role handles pre-weighing raw materials, bulk processing, and sanitation of compounding equipment.

You will weigh and mix ingredients, follow precise formulas, and document production data. A minimum of two years in manufacturing and knowledge of GMP/OSHA safety are required. This on-site role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Two years in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMP and OSHA safety regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective time management, good math skills, and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to use computers.
• Ability to reach, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to use protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow through on assignments and complete in a timely and competent manner.
• Positive leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-weigh all chemicals required for batches.
• Complete batches safely and on time with passing quality specs.
• Weigh, mix, and heat materials per formula to meet customer requirements.
• Produce bulk using a multi-phase batch process.
• Record production data on batch records with materials, quantities, and times.
• Identify and address equipment issues with management.
• Clean and sanitize equipment before and after manufacturing.
• Operate all equipment in work centers per instructions and safety standards.
• Perform tasks carefully, accurately, and efficiently per specific instructions.
