Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. is hiring a Composites Technician II (First Shift) in Long Beach, CA. You will drill precision holes in composite and metal parts, assemble hardware with adhesives and fasteners, and hand-trim composites.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment. The position supports a 5:00AM–3:30PM PT schedule with a baseline 50-hour week, and offers competitive pay with equity and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in composites drilling and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication with engineering and production.
• Ability to operate calibrated tools and lift heavy flight hardware safely.

Responsibilities

• Drill precision holes in composite and metallic components using appropriate tooling.
• Assemble hardware with adhesives, torque fasteners, inserts or rivets.
• Hand trim composites with cutoff wheels, routers, and jigs/tools.
• Uphold safety and shop cleanliness standards at Relativity Space.
• Foster an inclusive team environment.
