Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach is seeking an experienced technician for the Manufacturing team, focusing on precision drilling and hardware assembly for the Terran R program. You will work on flight hardware, apply tooling, and contribute to high-quality production lines.

The role requires 3+ years in aerospace drilling/assembly, proficiency with hand tools and inspection devices, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A 50-hour week with overtime supports our growth and innovation.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of precision drilling or aerospace integration experience.
  • Proficient with hand tools and inspection devices (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or Slack for team communication.
  • A&P certification is a nice-to-have but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Drill precision holes on flight hardware using appropriate tooling.
  • Assemble hardware with structural adhesives and proper torqueing.
  • Install inserts and Hiloks, and ensure proper clean assembly.
  • Perform in-process inspections with hand tools (micrometers, calipers, pin gauges).
  • Maintain safety and shop cleanliness to Relativity Space standards.
