Job summary

Community Mental Health Affiliates, Inc. (CMHA) in New Britain, CT, seeks a full-time Clinician II for Multidimensional Family Therapy. You join a multidisciplinary team providing assessment and therapeutic services to adults, children, and families with behavioral health needs.

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30 am–4:30 pm, at 233 Main St. Master’s in behavioral health and CT licensure (LCSW/LMFT/LPC/Ph.D./LADC) are required; bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral health (psychology, social work, counseling, MFT, drug counseling).
• Must have Connecticut license (LCSW/LMFT/LPC/Ph.D./LADC) for services.
• Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish/English); valid CT driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive intake assessments leading to diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
• Completes assessments and creates clinical formulations within designated timeframes.
• Delivers individual/family/group therapy using evidence-based practices.
• Develops client goals with measurable objectives and tracks progress.
• Collaborates with providers and communicates clinical information timely.
• Responds to crises and triages, with referrals to community resources.
• Documents timely for CMHA and external regulators; secures reimbursement.
