Job summary

Community Mental Health Affiliates, Inc. (CMHA) in New Britain, CT, seeks a full-time Clinician II for the Multidimensional Family Therapy program. This first-shift role is located at 233 Main St, New Britain, with Monday–Friday hours 8:30 am–4:30 pm.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in behavioral health and Connecticut licensure (LCSW/LMFT/LPC/Ph.D./LADC). Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred. EMR experience and DSM-5 expertise are expected; salary starts at $68,500/year with a $10,000

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral health required.
• Connecticut license (LCSW/LMFT/LPC/Ph.D./LADC) required or eligible.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems and DSM-5 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and establish diagnoses.
• Develop treatment plans and deliver individual, family and/or group therapy.
• Set achievable goals with clients and monitor progress over time.
• Collaborate with other providers and coordinate referrals.
• Respond to crisis situations and document all activities in a timely manner.
• Ensure reimbursement through accurate, compliant documentation.
