Job summary

Bruker EST seeks a first-shift manufacturing supervisor to oversee a team in our New Jersey facility. You will ensure safe, efficient chemical operations, lead operator training, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining strict quality and 6S standards.

The role runs 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with opportunities for growth, incentives, and benefits as part of Bruker’s comprehensive compensation package. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Basic math and computer skills required, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively and read and write in English.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret operating procedures, safety requirements, and calibrated equipment.
• Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures and properly use required safety equipment and features.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to support operational requirements.
• Must have US Citizenship or Permanent Residency. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Lead training and coaching of operators with accurate, on-the-job documentation.
• Maintain 6S and safety standards; take action on non-compliance.
• Meet manufacturing targets and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Follow area control plans and standard work; escalate issues to the Group Leader.
• Collaborate with quality and process engineers on procedural changes.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and root-cause problem solving.
• Maintain visual displays and metrics; support cross-training as needed.
