Job summary

New Flyer is seeking a Cell Leader for the 1st shift to lead a manufacturing cell in the production of transit buses. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while coaching a diverse team and coordinating with QA, Engineering, and HR.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the 1st shift cell to meet production goals.
• Enforce safety regulations and train team members.
• Apply lean principles and conduct regular audits to improve efficiency.
• Oversee quality control and ensure first-pass quality.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and overtime for the cell.
• Maintain documentation on performance, attendance, and reviews.
• Collaborate with QA, Engineering, and HR to resolve issues.
• Support compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreement.
