Job summary

Doppelmayr USA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpenter for production in Salt Lake City, UT. The role covers framing, flooring, roofing, and siding with outdoor work in all weather. It is a full-time first shift, with overtime and possible Saturdays to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of carpentry experience, reads blueprints, and uses hand and power tools safely. Benefits include 401(k) match, health/vision/dental, HSA, EAP, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in carpentry or related field.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and use a tape measure, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce quality products.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials and work in various environments.
• Accountable and self-motivated.
• Able to read, understand, and follow safety procedures.
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift and manipulate 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble according to drawings, specifications, and company standards.
• Determine required equipment and method, applying knowledge of carpentry, geometry, and cutting techniques to complete assembly.
• Install floor systems, wall studs, trusses, beams, doors, windows, molding and trim.
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently for wood framing and trim carpentry.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform other duties as required.
