Job summary

Worksteer-LLC is looking for dependable Framing Apprentices to join local construction crews in the Salt Lake City area. The role involves wood and metal framing, measuring, cutting, and assembling wall and floor systems while reading layouts and assisting with various construction tasks.

Outdoors and indoors, expect varied weather, physical work, and opportunities to learn from experienced framers as you grow in the trade.

Qualifications

• Framing experience preferred but not required for apprentices.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working at heights, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Capable of handling heavy physical workloads and strenuous labor.
• Comfortable working outdoors and exposed to the elements for extended periods.
• Experience using hand and power tools (nail guns, saws, tape measures, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to read basic measurements and follow layout instructions is a plus.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and directions from supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the trade.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday (8 - 12 hour shifts)

Job Description:

We are seeking dependable Framing Apprentices to join local construction crews on residential and commercial building projects throughout the Salt Lake City area. This full-time position involves wood and metal framing, measuring and cutting materials, assembling wall and floor systems, reading basic layouts, and assisting with general construction tasks as needed.

Whether you have framing experience or are looking to start a career in the construction trade, we want to hear from you. Apprentices will work alongside experienced framers and gain hands‑on training in all aspects of framing construction.

This position requires working outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions and performing heavy physical labor throughout the workday. Candidates must be comfortable being exposed to outdoor elements, working at heights, and handling physically demanding tasks.
