Job summary

Bruker is seeking a Billet Packing Technician for 1st shift to support our manufacturing operations. You will follow safety procedures, use precision measuring tools, and assemble etch-cleaned parts in a clean room environment.

This role requires basic math and computer skills, English communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime may be required to meet production schedules, with opportunities to learn and grow within Lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must have basic math and computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures and calibrated equipment.
• Ability to read and understand safety operating procedures and use safety features.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety regulations per OST Safety Manual.
• Proficiently use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Assemble etch-cleaned parts in a clean room environment.
• Assist in developing and revising billet packing procedures as needed.
• Maintain well-organized manufacturing paperwork.
• Support and help improve Lean manufacturing practices.
• Work in a team or with minimal supervision as required.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Work overtime as production schedules require.
• Follow packing diagrams and cross-train as needed.
