Job summary

Bruker EST, part of Bruker Corporation, is seeking a manufacturing assembly specialist for our production facility on the first shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM). You will assemble etched-cleaned parts in a clean room, use micrometers and calipers, and help improve Lean manufacturing practices while maintaining paperwork and safety standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and computer skills (Excel), and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. U.S.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Basic math and computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
  • Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret procedures and calibrated equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand all safety operating procedures and to use all safety features and equipment.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Must have US Citizenship or Permanent Residency. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety regulations as stated in the OST Safety Manual.
  • Proficiently use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
  • Assembly of etched-cleaned parts in a clean room environment
  • Assist in the development and revision of billet packing procedures as needed
  • Maintain well-organized manufacturing paperwork
  • Support and help improve Lean manufacturing practices
  • Work comfortably as part of a team on some tasks, and work comfortably with minimal supervision at other times
  • Need to be capable of lifting 50 pounds
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Working overtime as the production schedule requires
  • Able to follow packing diagrams
  • Cross-training as required per business needs
